Glacier National Park

We arrived at St Mary KOA on Sunday afternoon 5/19.  After getting registered and set up, we drove up the road to Many Glacier/Swift Current area of the park.  The ranger station is not open yet (we are a little early in the season), but enjoyed the ride and scenery.  Today 5/20 we drove down to Two Medicine part of the park and then we went to a town called East Glacier Park and met some really nice people.  The lady and her helper in Brownies is from Ft Myers and her helper is from Naples.  We ate ice cream and bought homemade chili for supper and a cinnamon roll for tomorrow's breakfast.  Really enjoying the time here although it had been very windy and cool. We have one more day here and then we leave for Canada.

This is our view from the camper window.

The views of the mountains are wonderful.

This little fellow was just wandering across the road.  Not sure what it is might be a grouse?

Entrance to the park at Many Glacier/Swift Current

On the shore of Lake Sherburne in the park at Many Glacier.

Another view of Lake Sherburne and the mountains which are a part of the Rockies.

Linda was playing around on the snow and lost her footing and just set down.  Needlessly to say by the time I could take the picture her bottom was wet from the snow.

This is a rock that was on the shore of the lake, which I thought had some unique markings.

Tom and Linda Hodges and my Linda getting back up the bank from the shore.
A mountain goat just sitting on the ledge above the road watching the car and people going by.

Snow in the parking lot.

This is the lodge on Lake Sherburne.

As we came back down the road the mountain goat was by the road getting a closer look at us.

Linda said I was concentrating too much on my phone?

Just a picture of us in the camper.

I then convinced her to go outside and do a selfie, I guess you can do one with a camera and not a phone??

The sun going down behind the mountain, much better in person.

This is Low Two Medicine lake and the mountains.

Linda would not get out of the truck, too windy and cold.  Love her anyway.

The snow in the parking lot at Two Medicine.
Snow in the porta john.

This little guy came out from under the snow to see what was going on.  Got to close and he went back in.

This is Two Medicine lake, there is still snow and ice in the lake.

Just messing around by the snow and I did not hit her with it.

Well I might be able to post some more pictures tomorrow night.  While we are in Canada I will not be able to and will catch up once we are back in the states.
